OUR STORY
On the eve of January 3, 2011, the Lord released the vision of what would become Pneuma Life Center to Bishop Anthony L Jinwright and Pastor Harriet Porter-Jinwright. The Lord had spoken to Bishop Jinwright in reference to this new, exciting, cutting-edge ministry that would adhere to the relevant needs of its people and would equip them for the realm of Kingdom Dominion and Abundant Living. The name God gave Bishop Jinwright for this Kingdom ministry was Pneuma Life Center - PNEUMA meaning the "Breath or Wind of God; His Spirit present" - from the prophetic reference of the dry bones being refilled that is found in Ezekiel 37:1-4.

After hearing the voice of the Lord and His promises of what was to come, Pastor Harriet Porter-Jinwright and a group of determined individuals came together on Sunday, January 9, 2011 in the Prayer Chapel of A.L. Jinwright Funeral Services in Charlotte, North Carolina. They came together as "A Gathering" to sing praises unto the Lord, worship, and pray for strength and guidance. As they continued to worship and meet on Sundays and Wednesday evenings, this group affectionately became known as The Gathering. Through the orchestration of the Holy Spirit, the Gathering became a fully incorporated Ministry on Sunday, March 20, 2011 and was officially named The Gathering at Pneuma Life Center. An invitation was given during the Worship on that Sunday Morning and 148 individuals answered the call to Kingdom and officially became members!

Our mission is to equip, empower and engage people into Kingdom relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, compelling them to go ye therefore and make disciples of all nations.
PURPOSE OF MINISTRY
The purpose of GAP Church International is to provide regular opportunities for Worship and Christian fellowship; to sustain the ordinances and ethical doctrines set forth by the Word of God and fulfilled through the New Testament Covenant of Jesus Christ; to nurture and strengthen its members through the application of Biblical principles from Christian Education; to receive its offerings and financial sustenance for the support of community investing and Apostolic Kingdom building; to preach and teach among all people the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ - preparing every soul for Christ's soon return.
